New Doona

Righto Im going to try to add a picture of my new doona cover!! Especially for you A-M!! I really hope it works if it does, well I will be adding pics left right and centre! lol

Found

I found a new doona cover!!! Woohoo! I was so excited to drive past my local Adairs store and see a gorgeous pale grey doona cover by Playboy of all things. Its got beautiful pleats and embellishments. I'm loving it!! I had to layby it of course as I'm still waiting for my tax return but I think it will be worth the wait!!
When I told hubby it was by Playboy I think he assumed it was going to have a great big Playboy Bunny on it, there will be no bunnies for this chicky!! lol

Revamp

I revamped the blog, what do you think??? I like the new colour, especially the white!! lol I have a real thing for white at the moment, well white and grey actually!! I recently painted a wall in my house a dark grey called "Studio Grey" by Dulux. I framed lots of family pics in white frames from Ikea (cheap I know but they are great!!) and it has turned out great!! When I figure out how to post a pic on here, I will show you!!

Now I'm thinking of painting the wall behind my bed in a lighter grey and revamping my bedroom furniture by painting it white as well!!! I'm hoping to buy a new doona cover soon to go with it all.. Always the way I can never find one when I am looking, but always plenty in store when I'm not!

Time to say goodbye

Today we said goodbye to my grandfather, otherwise known as Gramp. He was a crotchety old bugger who was very set in his ways and also always right!!! I will miss him dearly but I'm also rather cranky with him. Within months of our Nanna passing he flew to the Philippines and married a lady younger than I am. He also gave us all an ultimatum of accepting her and calling her Nanna or we would be "nothing" to him. Unfortunately for him, the family decided to have no more contact with him for awhile, till he calmed down at least!!!

I saw him only 3 weeks ago when they told him he had bone cancer and I guess for him, at least it took him quickly. His wife, my Nanna, had bone cancer and suffered endlessly for 8 months. I would rather take my life than suffer like she did. Its a sad state of affairs this dying business. I have seen and suffered through far too many peoples passing for my liking.

But we carry on, as the world wishes us too. On a brighter note, the kids went back to school today!! YAY!! I missed them, but I know Mischa missed them more!! She searched the house for ages, this afternoon when we got home, saying "buddas, buddas" it was rather adorable!!

Family Update

So not much has been happening here around Project LBD. I rejoined the gym and then haven't been able to go due to sick children!! My poor Baby Mischa has just been diagnosed as an asthmatic and while I have been getting that sorted I didn't want to risk putting her in creche........Or is that just an excuse not to exercise!! Hmmmmmm

I still really want to move house but I cant find anything suitable that's in our price range! Always the way isn't it! When your not looking there are heaps of homes that would be great, but when you want to move you cant find a thing!

Hubby took the boys to watch Toy Story 3 which they all thoroughly enjoyed. While the men went to the movies Mish and I went shopping!! Which was very successful, for the kids at least!! Heaps of clothes for Declan and Mish in the clearance racks but unfortunately not much for Liam!!

Mish has just started to show a real interest in dolls and treating them like a baby, which is adorable as she is just a baby herself! I cant believe how fast time is flying this year, before I know it she will be 2 and where will my baby have gone!! Time for another one................I don't think so!
