Okay, so I'm not the most avid blogger, me thinks I prefer to read blogs than do my own. But I will persevere and maybe I will get the hang of it one day!! LOL

School holidays is over and boy am I glad about that!! The kids were getting on my and each others nerves by the end of it. Heaven help me when we get the looooong summer break, it might just kill me!!!

I finally received my copy of BodyTrim in the mail yesterday so starting Friday - I will be doing that!! Wish me luck!! I have a few friends that do it and they have done really well, so I'm hoping it will be the same for me. And why Friday you ask, well I have to watch the DVDs yet and do the shopping for it so Friday sounds good to me!! LOL

I'm trying to decide on a new colour for the wall opposite my kitchen, its currently green which I'm sooo over, I was thinking grey, but not sure on that either! I have plenty of brown walls around my house but I don't think I need anymore of those!!! What do you think???

Tired

Oh I am sooo tired today, my little missy decided that sleep was not her priority last night so I'm a rather grumpy mumma today!!! We went away for the weekend to my hubby's grandparents in Walpole which is a 4 hour drive!! Those 4 hours seemed to take forever with 3 kids in the back of the car!!! I am still trying to get over it!! LOL

I found some gorgeous lights a few months ago on eBay, they where a chandelier with a black shade around them ( you know what I mean) and they were just divine but I thought no I wont buy them as I don't need them but I sulked for awhile about it cause I really did love them! Then hubby tells me the other day, you should buy that light you really loved!! So I hop onto eBay and........they don't sell them anymore! That will teach me!! Oh well I guess it wasn't meant to be!! ( Darn it!! ) LOL

Sad.....

Hmmmm I feeling a bit sad today, its been 2 years since my Nanna passed away. So I'm taking my Dad for a drive to the cemetery, which is also where my Mum is buried....
So I guess its a double visit really, strangely enough my kids enjoy going to the cemetery they like looking at all the headstones. I'm not sure if that's a morbid thing or a good thing, at least they have a strong sense of life and death.

Unfortunately for my kids they only have 2 grandparents left, my Mum died when I was 19 so they never knew her but my father in law died when my eldest was 3 and he remembers Grandad dying in an accident. Its terrible for young people to be without grandparents I reckon! I loved my grandparents and really treasure the memories I have of staying at their houses and them telling tales of when they were young.. Oh well I suppose we, as our children's parents, will just have to tell them tales of our parents instead! xx

Success

Okay so I started this blog 2 days ago and already I have lost weight!! Ahhhh well not really, the last time I weighed myself was at the beginning of Sept and yesterday I hopped onto the Wii Fit and I had lost 2.4kg's!! How nice!! It really was quite a shock, I was actually just hopping on to see if I had gained some, so WooHoo for me!!

Hubby took us all for a drive today to see a dam in our area overflowing!! The kids loved it and its nice to see that we have had a decent winter this year. I'm from a farming family so rain is always lovely to see!!

My youngest is really starting to develop her personality and from what I can tell its a cheeky one! Her car seat is in between both the brothers and she was stirring them up today by stealing their straws outta the drinks and shaking her head NO when they asked for them back!! I think she is going to be alot like her little big brother!!! Which means I'm gonna be in for some trouble!!

Hi my name is Nell, and this whole blogging thingo is quite new to me, but I enjoy reading others blogs and I hope someone will enjoy reading mine!!

Project LBD is a tale about me trying to lose some weight to get into a really cute Little Brown Dress that I bought early last year. I want to wear it to a wedding next year. So basically I have about months to drop 2 dress sizes to fit into this little brown dress!!

So apart from this I'm sure you will hear tales of my 3 children, lovely but at times irritating hubby and my love of interior design!! I'm a mad keen decorator if only I had a mansion to decorate! LOL
